There are families living in big metropolitan cities who are ‘Food Insecure’. They do not know whether they will have their next meal or not. Being the white collar residents of the society, they cannot seek alms from others. Al-Maida (Trust) provides subsidized/free ration to deserving families. These families are selected by Al-Maida after thoroughly accessing the situation of the applicants against a set criteria. The selected families are provided with the subsided/free ratio on monthly basis.
